Did I Mention That I'm Moving? Big time scared.
Today's Tweets: There's about a month to go and I'm getting really nervous. One kid is coming with us, but the other is staying here. As much as he's my baby in my eyes, he has decided to grow up on me and actually move on with his life. In fact, he's even getting married next January.
But lets get back to the house. It took us two years to sell and I had pretty much given up on it EVER selling. On a whim I contacted a stager and let her loose in my home and within two weeks, our house was no longer ours. Because it is a company move, I at least don't have to do ANY of the packing. They will be coming in at the end of September and packing everything in two days and then sending it on by the end of the month.
Well that's enough for today. Join me again tomorrow when I moan some more about the move. Did I mention that it is 8 hours away by plane from all of my family??

*that the oil from peanut butter is actually good for your hair!
*vericose veins are caused by a variety of things and one just happened to be sitting for long periods of time. That means that you have to do a whole lot of walking each day.
*a 15 minute walk each morning apparently is very good for you. A little bit of sunshine is good for you. And all this time I have been avoiding the sun!
*the pros are saying that we need to walk 30 minutes a day non stop for maximum results. First of all, I didn't know that it had to be 30 minutes... I've been stopping after 20 minutes but here is the kicker... it's good for your skin. You are getting all those toxins out of your system thanks to all that movement!
*while watching TV, try soaking your feet in warm soapy water. Not only is it relaxing, it is great for ridding your soles of all that dead skin that looks horrid when wearing sandals. Just a little thing you can do for yourself. You never think of how much abuse your feet take over a day! Me... never thought of it at all!

So you think that your cleanser is removing every bit of gunk from your face each night?? So did I until I began to use this clarifying lotion by Clinique... which began as a sample btw. I washed my face and then applied this stuff with a cotton ball. I couldn't believe my eyes. My skin was supposed to be clean... not even close! That was the last time I used that cleanser!

My day began way too early, which means that it is going to drag. Thunder (and I hate thunder) is rumbling behind me... am I the only person who hates thunderstorms? For some reason, they scare the heck out of me.
What I'm Listening To: actually I downloaded a ton of podcasts and while I'm walking (which I don't know if I will get around to today) I listen to one of 60 that I regularly listen to. I'm becoming a podcast junkie! This morning while I was cleaning up the kitchen, I listened to a horror story. You wouldn't believe how clean your house gets when you can't shut the thing off! You simply keep cleaning until you get to the end... which might not be such a bad thing!
What I'm Reading: Chicken Soup for the Shopper's Soul. I'm about half way through it and it's definately a good read. I'm even picking up some pointers along the way. Yes, I'm a shopaholic too. Comes with the job lol...
What I'm PLanning to Do Today: Exercise! It's my "use the exercise ball" day. I bought the ball ages ago but it wasn't until I spotted a set from Costco which included three videos did I actually start using it. I'm not one of those people who can look at a wall chart and know what you are supposed to do. Brain just isn't wired that way I guess. ;)

*There is a Trick and Rambling
Healthy eating is a lot easier than you may think. The trick is to try working something new into your diet each week. You will discover so many new great tasting foods that are good for you. And, you won't miss that bag of chips... honest ;) Well, actually, everything in moderation is an important issue as well. If you crave a bag of chips, treat yourself once in a while. And here is another little trick. Pre-pack your chips into plastic bags, using smaller portions.
Today's Twitter... just have no appetite today. It must have something to do with these allergies. I have never had them this bad but I'm actually looking forward to the cooler weather. Talk about a quick way to ruin your summer.

July 22... a few thoughts
Getting Carried Away
When you “butter” a slice of bread, do you get carried away? Do you really need that much? Try cutting down in just this area and see the difference it makes in your calorie intake. Same goes for that baked potato and the added sour cream or butter.
*Fragrant Sweaters
Tuck a few lavender wands into the drawers where you store your sweaters. Each time you open your drawer, you will be greeted with the heavenly scent of summer lavender. Great for those winter days when summer seems so far away.
Olay Complete Defense Moisturizer - Product Spotlight
It's lightweight which is just what you need for the summer months and it offers an SPF of 30. At the moment, that seems to be an adequate protection.

I tend to have oily eyelids. That means that eyeliner pencils seldom work for me. The color tends to stray to every other area of the eye. To fix this problem, I have found that I have the best results with a pot of eyeliner that is to be used with a brush and a little water. Dampen the brush, pick up a little liner and then slowly line the eye area. Using this method, you can start with a very thin line and increase the width as needed. Much easier to master. And don't forget to carefully blot the fresh liner to pick up any trace of wet liner.

Add a few drops of lavender essential oil to a mister full of water. Shake and then spritz whenever you want to relax. This is also effective just before you go to bed.

The next time you are at the mall, look for a lotion that has a little shimmer powder mixed into the formulation. I found a gorgeously scented one at The Body Shop and it looks great in candlelight.
Now all we need no is the warm temperatures so that I can wear something that isn't covering up every inch of me.
